Is NextSpace really as cool as you say it is?
Can I bring my clients/customers into NextSpace?
Absolutely. Having a professional place to hold meetings is one of the big advantages of NextSpace membership. All of our conference rooms are equipped with a projector, screen, dry erase boards and a conference phone. Seating varies per location, always accommodating at least 10, get more details and book one here: NextSpace Conference Rooms.
What about parking?
All locations are in ideal downtown hot spots and can be easily accessed by car or public transportation. Once you become a member we’ll show you all the ropes around parking for your location.
Well then, what about bikes?
We have limited indoor parking/storage for bikes for Cafe and Workstation Members. Office Members are free to bring their bikes into NextSpace and keep them in their offices. And a few folks just lock their bikes on the street.
Can I talk on my cellphone at NextSpace?
Yes, plenty of people are usually chatting on their phones. If you need to have a private conversation, you can use the old-style rehabbed phone booth (which is pretty cool) or book a conference room. Of course, we ask that members respect the fact that NextSpace is a shared workspace. So, no loud yakking!
Do you have events for members?
Why, yes we do. We have Brown Bag Lunches every week on a variety of topics. On most Fridays we have happy hours where we kick back and celebrate the end of the week. And we usually have one evening event per month when we bring in authors, speakers, or other people who have interesting things to share with our members. Check out all our events and happenings on our Calendar.
Do you have a printer or copier?
We do, and it’s pretty snazzy. It prints, copies, scans, faxes, staples, collates and does everything but fold your laundry…and yes, this is included in your membership.
Can I bring my own food?
Hey, you gotta eat. But beyond food, we have all the gourmet coffee and tea you can drink (gulp gulp)! We have plenty of pantry and refrigerator space. We also have a microwave, pannini maker, and toaster oven. Oh, and two (count ‘em, TWO!) coffee makers. And we can neither confirm nor deny that we have beer and wine stashed in various nooks and crannies in case of emergency.
Is my stuff safe at NextSpace?
Definitely. We control access to the space 24/7. Only members and their guests are allowed in NextSpace. And our community does a great job of watching each other’s backs. Because that’s just what communities do.
