Brown Bag Lunch Requirements:
Our Brown Bags are 12-1pm on Tuesdays (Santa Cruz & Los Angeles) or Thursdays (San Francisco). These are informal discussions that are purely informational (this is in no way a sales opportunity!) and we have a strict no-spamming policy. We are open to most topics but want to steer clear of the loaded ones (religion, politics, etc.). The conference room where the BBLs are held come equipped with a projector, screen and whiteboards. Oh, and our members always love free food!
Space Requirements:
Our insurance company requires that you purchase a one-day $1,000,000 Insurance policy to cover your event if you plan on serving alcohol. Our front door must be kept locked at all times* and grants access only through keycards (which all members have, we will give you a guest pass as well) and the call box (we will teach you our phone system to open the door this way). *If holding an event at NextSpace LA door remains unlocked M-F during normal business hours.
Payment:
NextSpace requires half the amount down prior to booking space and we charge $50-$75/hr for our conference room (seating 30-50) and $75-$300/hr for our cafe space (75-200 people), depending on location. We require a cleaning deposit of $100 and a $25 administrative fee for events beginning after 5pm. Please remember to respect the space and clean up after yourself and guests. If the conference room is not a happy clean room after your use, a $25 charge will be added to your bill.
